Nathalie Cadot
Associate
Nathalie Cadot is an associate with the Nature-Based Infrastructure (NBI) Global Resource Centre for IISD’s Economic Law and Policy Program. She provides support for fundraising and engagement for the NBI Global Resource Centre.
With over 17 years of experience in international development and cooperation, Nathalie has worked extensively in philanthropy, environmental sustainability, and leadership development, focusing on fostering circular economy principles and biodiversity-based entrepreneurship across Africa and Europe.
During her tenure at MAVA, Nathalie managed a grant portfolio exceeding CHF 24 million, co-developed innovative leadership programs, and spearheaded impactful communication projects, including the Voices That Count initiative. Her expertise in monitoring and evaluation has led to the development of comprehensive strategies for tracking ecological and socio-economic outcomes, ensuring sustainable and measurable impacts.
Nathalie holds a master’s degree in spatial and urban planning from Compiègne University of Technology in France. She is fluent in French and English, with basic proficiency in Spanish. Based in Pully, Switzerland, she serves as a board member at Zero Waste Europe and actively contributes to advancing nature-based infrastructure solutions through her collaboration with the NBI Global Resource Centre.
